FMC receives $47 million in subsea equipment orders

Recently, FMC Technologies announced that it has received a $47 million subsea equipment order from the Norwegian National Petroleum Corporation for the Tyrihans field. The field is located in the Norwegian Sea and is about 300 meters deep. The order includes a submarine tree and reactor module, which is expected to be delivered in 2014.
The Tyrihans field is connected to the existing installations and infrastructure of the Kristin and Aasqard fields in the Halten Bank area of ​​the Norwegian Sea using a submarine backhaul. The Tyrihans field includes the South Tyrihans field and the northern Tyrihans field. The former is dominated by oil and the latter is dominated by natural gas and condensate.
