Russia seizes $1 million worth of Chinese smuggled auto parts

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Moscow, said on the 5th that the police arrested a group of Chinese citizens suspected of smuggling fake Russian brand manufacturers Bosch, LUK and VAZ into the Russian market during a search operation. The staff of the General Administration of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has submitted the collected materials to the investigating authorities and will file a criminal case according to the provisions of the Russian Criminal Code (Illegal Use of Trademarks). The maximum penalty is imprisonment of five years.
