Huang Wei, the new president of Goodyear China, said in Shanghai that by the end of 2012, the company will relocate the production of passenger car tires to a new factory in Dalian and begin production of commercial vehicle tires in early 2013. The annual output will reach 10.5 million. It is understood that in the future, Goodyear will develop tires for commercial vehicles in addition to tires for passenger cars, and will enter tire replacement markets and terminal markets. At present, the Dalian Pulandian New Factory has launched the first R&D tire in February of this year, and it is expected to achieve mass production before the end of June. In the coming years, China and India will become the most important markets for Goodyear. In 2010, Goodyear introduced two high-performance products - Anjie and Royal, and the market responded well. It is understood that Goodyear already has more than 60 dealers and nearly 800 branded retail stores in China.
