According to the price monitoring center of the National Development and Reform Commission monitoring 36 large and medium-sized cities throughout the country, the national automobile market prices generally remained stable and slightly fluctuating in March, and both domestic and imported automobile prices rose slightly.

The price of commercial vehicles rose slightly, up by 0.20% from the previous quarter and 1.88% from the same period last year. Among them, the price of commercial buses rose by 0.51% from the previous month and rose by 0.69% year-on-year. Among the subdivided models, the prices of light and large passenger cars rose by 0.26% and 0.57% respectively from the previous month. The year-on-year increase was -8.79% and 4.26% respectively; The price of goods vehicles dropped steadily, falling by 0.24% from the previous month and up 3.62% year-on-year. In the subdivision model, the price of light goods vehicles was the same as that of the previous month. The price of medium goods vehicles decreased by 1.81% from the previous month; it was up 1.18% year-on-year; the price of heavy goods vehicles was up by 0.71% from the previous month and was up 5.22% year-on-year.

The price of imported automobiles rose slightly in March. The price of imported automobiles rose by 0.46% month-on-month, which was a 6.60% increase over the same period of last year. Among them, the prices of imported cars and imported SUVs rose by 0.44% and 0.48% respectively from the previous month.

It is expected that the trend of stable price fluctuations will continue to be affected by the launch of a large number of new models at the Shanghai International Auto Show and the introduction of new production capacity in the later stages.
