In the first half of the year textile machinery import and export growth slowed slightly

According to customs statistics, from January to June 2011, the cumulative total of China's textile machinery import and export was 3.856 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 44.89% year-on-year. Among them, textile machinery exports were 1.056 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 36.15% year-on-year; imports were 2.80 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 48.48% year-on-year. From January to June cumulative imports and exports of textile machinery compared with the cumulative import and export from January to May, the cumulative year-on-year percentage growth has decreased slightly.

Export growth of textile machinery in India is clearly reflected by the export product category. From January to June this year, China's knitting machinery exports amounted to US$322 million, an increase of 48.10% year-on-year, accounting for 30.44%, ranking first, followed by auxiliary equipment and Parts, finishing machinery for printing and dyeing, spinning machinery, chemical fiber machinery, looms, non-woven fabric machinery and weaving preparation machinery.

From January to June 2011, China exported textile machinery products to 156 countries and regions. The top five export countries were India, Japan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Pakistan. The amount of exports to these countries accounted for all exports. 50.19% of the total, of which textile machinery exported to India totaled US$252 million, an increase of 71.89% year-on-year, accounting for 23.90% of total exports.

From January to June 2011, private textile companies ranked first in export of textile machinery products, with export value of US$439 million, a year-on-year increase of 52.61%, accounting for 41.53%, and wholly-owned enterprises export of US$357 million, a year-on-year increase of 40.31. %, accounting for 33.81% of total exports, ranked second; followed by state-owned enterprises, joint ventures, collective enterprises, cooperative enterprises.

From January to June 2011, China's textile machinery exports were still dominated by general trade, with an export value of US$892 million, a year-on-year increase of 46.52%, accounting for 84.41% of total exports; and imported processing trade exports were US$143 million, an increase of 21.69% over the same period of the previous year. , accounting for 13.58% of total exports; other methods of trade exports 2130.40 million US dollars, down 56.98% year-on-year, accounting for 2.02% of total exports.

From January to June 2011, there were 29 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country that exported textile machinery products. The top five provinces and municipalities accounted for 86.14% of the total.

Large increase in imports of weaving preparation machinery From the category of imported products, imports of knitted machinery came in first place, total imports amounted to US$682 million, an increase of 31.04% year-on-year, accounting for 24.35% of total imports; weaving preparation machinery imports increased by a large margin, year-on-year growth 127.43%.

From January to June 2011, the major countries and regions in China's textile machinery imports were mainly Japan, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and China Taiwan. The total trade volume of the top five import countries and regions was 2.31 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 51.26% year-on-year. , accounting for 85.03% of the total import volume, of which, the total import of Japanese textile machinery was 907 million US dollars, an increase of 54.55%, accounting for 32.40%.

From the perspective of the nature of the importing enterprises, the total import value of private enterprises was US$917 million, an increase of 58.75% year-on-year, accounting for 32.75% of the total imports, ranking first.

From January to June 2011, China’s textile machinery imports were still dominated by general trade methods, with total imports of US$2.081 billion, accounting for 74.31% of total imports, and an increase of 52.56% year-on-year; foreign-invested enterprises ranked second as imported equipment and goods. The total amount of imports was 552 million U.S. dollars, accounting for 19.73% of the total imports, an increase of 46.48% year-on-year.

From January to June 2011, 28 provinces and municipalities in 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country had different numbers of imports. Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Fujian, and Shanghai ranked among the top five in total imports, accounting for 83.50% of total imports, of which, Jiangsu's total imports were US$831 million, a year-on-year increase of 58.33%, accounting for 29.68%. %.
