A chlorite-monohydrate soft bauxite bauxite ore in foreign countries contains 41.93% Al 2 O 3 , 10.68% SiO 2 and 30.6% Fe 2 O 3 . After sieving and washing, the coarse grade (-50mm+3mm) is subjected to selective crushing and grading, the coarse fraction is low aluminum-silicon ratio product, and the fine grade (less than 0.4mm) can be used to remove impurity iron by selective flocculation. The process flow is shown in Figure 1b. The aluminum concentrate can be obtained with Al 2 O 3 52.3%, SiO 2 8.43%, Fe 2 O 3 8.43%, aluminum recovery rate 73.3%, aluminum-silicon ratio 6.2 sorting effect, see Table 1.
