Japan IHI develops electric propulsion ferry

IHI (Ishikawajima Heavy Industries, Japan) Joint Shipbuilding Company announced that it will develop the world's first charging ferry. The use of onshore power equipment to charge the ferry battery pack, the electric propulsion ship that relies on electric motor propulsion during navigation, is expected to be put into use in 2015. The plan is to develop a short-distance passenger ferry vessel suitable for sheltering waters, about 250t, with a total length of about 30m, a width of 12m and a depth of 3.6m. The ship has a capacity of 800 people. It is equipped with two 400kW propulsion engines and is equipped with a two-way reversing propeller. The battery pack uses a 5000kW large-capacity lithium battery, which can sail 120KM after 6-8 hours of charging. The ship's cost is expected to be 60% higher than that of a diesel engine of the same size (400-500 million yen). This type of electric propulsion ferry has several distinct features. It uses the electric propulsion method to achieve zero emissions of carbon dioxide and other exhaust gases, and has excellent quietness, and saves additional auxiliary equipment, which can reduce fuel costs by using nighttime electricity.

Low Iron MgO

Low Iron Magnesium Oxide is mainly used in animal feed and animal nutrition and fertilizer.
Feed Grade Magnesium Oxide can not only compensate for magnesium deficiency in the diet to avoid the onset of magnesium deficiency, but also is an excellent rumen buffer to regulate rumen fermentation, and can add mammary gland absorption of milk composition precursors, and improve milk yield and milk fat percentage. Adding magnesium oxide to dairy cows' diet can prevent heat stress.
