What are Pipe Fusion Machines? and How do Butt Fusion Welding Machines work? Butt Fusion/ Heat Fusion is mainly for welding of plastic pipes and fittings made of HDPE, PP, PVDF. Pipe Thermofusion Machines are used in the construction, mining, oil and gas, water and sewerage industries etc,which are also called Field Butt Welding Machines. HDPE Pipe Butt fusion welding is a type of hot plate welding for thermoplastic pipes,Butt-fusion is a sensitive process, which is why all fusion parameters have to be coordinated to create a homogenous joint with consistently high welding quality. The butt welding machines used to weld PE pipes have controls to ensure the welding parameters are strictly adhered to. The following parameters are controlled:
♦heater plate temperature
♦ovality and alignment
♦interface pressure
♦bead width
♦heat soak time
♦changeover time
For Yuda RDH series Hydraulic Butt Fusion Machines, you can choose data logger to control these welding parameters. For Yuda RDH-A Series CNC Poly Pipe Butt Welding Machine, The CNC Welding system control these welding factors itself. Recently DVS2207 and ISO21307 welding standards input in data logger or cnc control system already.
