Yingbulu Hydropower Station achieves major node goals

At 17:30 on August 11th, the No. 1 unit of the Yingbulu hydropower station in the Congo (Bhubu), which was built by the 14th Bureau of the China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Construction Co., Ltd., was successfully connected to the grid for power generation. At this point, all four units at the Yingbola Power Plant were connected to the grid for power generation, and major node targets in the construction of the power station have been achieved.

The Yingbulu Hydropower Station is the largest power station in the Congo so far. It has installed 4 sets of 30,000-kilowatt generating units with a total installed capacity of 120,000 kilowatts. The annual average generating capacity is 681.5 million kilowatt-hours, which will become the national grid of Congo (Brazzaville) after completion. The main power station, the capital city of Brazzaville, Congo, and other cities along the route will bid farewell to the era of power shortage, and the supply and demand contradictions of the Congo as a whole are expected to reach a balance.

Since the foundation of the power plant in 2004, the construction of the staff of the China National Bureau of Hydro-Electricity 14 has overcome many difficulties such as complex geological terrain, difficult construction, transportation difficulties, scarcity of supplies, and disease epidemics, and it has finally completed most of the key nodes of the project. On June 22, units No. 4 and No. 3 of Yingbuzol Power Station were connected to the grid in advance. On July 8th, Unit 2 was connected to the grid in advance. On August 11th, the last unit of the power station was connected to the grid in advance. China's hydropower fulfilled its solemn promise with its strength and reputation, fully demonstrated its performance ability and technology level, and won honors for Chinese enterprises.
